:off to my burial!

lolololol hey guys what is up?! ummm so like my birthdays tomorrow and i freakin tell everyone...people i dont even know because i love attention! #LOOKATME. so this week was fun and crazy and all sorts of different emotions. lets go day by day k?

monday- pday. so we go running in the morning and then when we get back in the car we get a text from our sister training leaders and they tell us about exchanges and that I WAS STAYING IN THE AREA AGAIN! i was livid and quite frankly probably a brat to them. its just as a trainer it was really annoying to see sister salazar leave for the third time when she has had hardly any experience taking over. i was mad to say the least. whatever. for pday sports we played basketball and the sissies made everything pumpkin because it was the first day of fall! so cute. we had pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies and i made a pumpkin roll thing. we are so fun! then it was off to exchange -___-

tuesday- so i was with a sister named sister cook who is so sweet and it was good to get to know her a little more. in the morning we did service for sister drena and helped her pick some weeds. i love service! it was a good time. then later that day we went over to the hospital to visit the little old lady from georgia who thinks im large and in charge....she is so cute and is going through a little depression so we went and gave her a spiritual pick me up! then we had the best lesson with charlotte about enduring to the end which involved going through life and having faith, repenting, going to church and using the gift of the holy ghost. then at the end (if she payed attention and answered all of our questions) we gave her the gift of eternal life which just so happened to be a ring pop and some licorice that i got at christmas time. LOL IM FUN! we had dinner with savanahs family and then gave her a lesson about church and how important it is. it got me thinking about why we go to church. why do you go to church? out of obligation? the main reason we should all go to church is to renew our promise with heavenly father and jesus christ by partaking of the sacrament. the sacrament has never meant more to me that it does out here on the mission. it helps us with repentance. it helps us endure to the end. it helps us understand the atonement of our savior and the sacrifice that he made for us. lol also church is fun because friends too! we saw kat and leroy after dinner. they are a treat for sure....then it was back to exchange!

wednesday-  district meeting. we talked about making commitments! then we went to contact a referral that we recieved but he wasnt home so we just talked with his grandma...more like she talked to us. i love old people! after dinner we went to the franklins and he gave us a really good lesson on family history. then i got chocolate milk <3

thursday- we had foodbank of course and there was soooo much food. then after dinner we met with our referral. his name is ryan and he is 11 years old. he comes from a broken family and a really hard back ground but he has the sweetest spirit and is so innocent. he is our new investigator!!! then i had my last stake correlation. i can honestly say president sanders is my favorite stake president i have ever serve with. he is hilar!

friday- we had food bank in the morning then for most of the day we went over to sister skaggs house to play in her park and have a bbq. it was so cute! me and sister salazar were just playin and she was taking pictures of us going down the slide, swinging on the swings and just frolicing around. she was like our grandma! then when sister salazar was coming down from the tree house she hurt her knee! its okay because sis skaggs had a wheel chair...so i had fun pushing her around the park! then we had dinner with bishop larson and weekly planned the rest of the night!

saturday- such a fun day!!!! we had our last basketball of the transfer and i couldnt misss! i was on fire im tellin ya! after getting ready we went to our zone leaders baptism and it was all in spanish but the guy was so fun! so he read us mosiah 3:19 which deals with being meek and humble like a child so then he says in broken enlish "I AM BABY FOREVER" awwww he so cute. after that we went to super saturday and made cute little thomas s monson placks. i love the prophet! we taught arieana a quick lesson then had to go grab dinner before the womans conference! oh man oh man it was so good. all the messages were the best and president uchtodorf knows the thoughts and hearts of every woman in the world. we are all loved. no matter what we look like or think about ourselves. HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES YOU!! for you. dont ever forget that...
then the rest of the night was supposed to be playing softball but we were all just really waiting for transfer calls. we finally got ours after everyone!!! lol AP did not listen to my request but its okay. im transferring back to west tucson zone! i loved that zone but its in a completely different place. i was kinda sad a first but quickly got over it and knew it was where the lord needed me.

sunday/monday- church. it was testimony meeting and the spirit was great and ryan came to church! then we helped in nursery because there wasnt enough teacher. OMG I LOVE ALL THE BABIES! they are so cute. i spent the rest of the day and monday saying goodbye to people and taking pictures and packing. here is a miracle story! it was about 5 oclock and we needed to get to our dinner but i just felt that i needed to try and see kris before i left....it had been about 10 weeks since i had seen her. so we show up and her loser boyfriend was outside and asked if we could see kris...he went to get her and she came out! it was so good to see her. she told us things were really difficult but that she still has a testimony and reads and prays every day. it was so sad and i almost cried. thank you for all the prayers in behalf of her! we shouldnt give up on anyone! i love her! i loved safford and all the people that i met and taught and grew to love. that is the hardest and best part about a mission. loving people. because with love comes all these crazy emotions!

now i am in avra valley and am settled in my DYING AREA! the house is way sick and i have my own bathroom. tight. this is the last place i will be serving as a full time missionary. its kinda scary but im pumped! my comp is sister zeally from rexburg, ID. shes been out 17 months and i will "kill her" FUN!!! heres to the next 11 weeks. love you all!

rain...fun!

lol hey. so everyone has been asking me if we got flooded or anything and safford didnt really get anything. they got hit pretty hard in tucson and then the storm was heading north east so on tuesday, wed, and thursday it was pretty gloomy, a little cold and rainy. it was so fun! i love that weather soo much. it makes me miss the great state of washington! so theres that but this week wasnt toooo special. on monday for pday we just played like pday sports but it wasnt that fun because the people were getting way to competitive and im just running around the whole time going "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" and then yeah. we hung out with the sissies after. that night we were invited to a familys house for fhe! omg first we played barbies with their 3 year old daughter. tight. then we had dinner. the little boys taught the fhe lesson...they will be great missionaries. then we played gestures!!!! loved that. it was girls vs boys and obvi girls one because girls rule and boys drool and stuff. on tuesday it was a really rainy and gloomy day so we are like perff everyone will want to stay home and stay outta the rain right. not right. we went to so many houses and nobody was home!!! i mean i guess az doesnt get that much rain that they wanted to get out and enjoy it or something. on wednesday we had district meeting and talked about nurturing the people that we work with. they are like plants and need food....lol or scriptures and the gospel. then we went to subway for lunch. eat fresh. it was still pretty rainy that day and did you know that the earth literally falls apart when it rains here...so driving to dinner was pretty scary. i thought we might fall to china! omg the lady we went to dinner is a puppy breeder. ILOVEPUPPIES and purdy. it was so cute. thursday we had food bank and a lot of the elders had a meeting that they had to go to that day so it was all the sissies working there! we got it done. sissies>elders. lol jk. also i was able to see some friends that came to the temple. i love all the mission friends! on friday we had weekly planning and then we went finding and came across a former named frank who my former comp lovell used to teach. omg he was the funnest. he made us all sing together and hold hands when we prayed. but sadly hes not interested in the gospel becasue he loves coffee too much :( then we had dinner with sister conely and kat and leroy. that was such a fun dinner to say the least. sis conely has a sock monkey named socko that she plays with and he was at dinner too...mix that with kat and lee and its better than the movies! dinner was really good though. we had corn tamales. at the end of the night the stars were shining so bright that me and salazar went to the middle of nowhere and laid on top of our car and went star gazing! it was so pretty. there are perks to serving in safford! on saturday we had basketball...almost done with that tradtition :( that night we had softball again and the gomezs came! it so fun to fellowship and have good wholesome recreational activities! sunday was day-o-primary... it was the primary program. which i love and lol at the kids the whole time. in 9th ward the talks was on testimonies and i really enjoyed them. one man talked about picking pomegranates and then juicing them and how hard it is to get little drops and hopefully a whole gallon of juice in the end. he related it to testimonies and how we have to work hard to get a good testimony and how it comes little by little but in the end we have a full "jug" of testimony that tastes good! i loved that. testimonies are gained in the little things that we do everyday and thats what matters. we taught ctr 9....lol is that what its called anymore? they were unruly...but we controlled them and the primary pres said we can sub anytime we want because usually they are outta control. dont mess with sista b. that night our dinner cancelled on us so we combined our lunch hour and dinner hour, ate real fast and took a 2 hour nap after dinner. so fun!!!! then we worked the rest of the night. okay onto an update with the peeeppps
savanah: taught her the gospel of jesus christ...she loved it. then we taught her the word of wisdom and she said she never wants to put anything above god because he gave her hunter and he is the biggest blessing shes ever recieved. oh and then she proceeds to tell us that she s pregnant again. omg shes 18 and will have 2 babies. you go glenn cocoa.

arieana: shes doing good and is just a super silly red head...we want her to be pippy longstalking for halloween. she had her part in the primary program and bore her testimony! shes so cute!

charlotte: we didnt get to see her this week :(

connie: we are starting the book of mormon with her and she wants to start walking with us when she feels the urge to smoke! so hopefully we can help her with that

gomez: we saw them on tuesday night and talked about goals that we can set. they want to slowly start coming to church and work their way to all three meetings. it was good and they said that they want us to come over more!! cute. they are truly our miracle family and we know it was because of the fasting and prayers of everyone in the ward and all you guys at home!

floyd: still tells us hes coming to church but never ends up showing. dang you floyd!

ugh emailing is so hard sometimes because im like tired of typing but only 11 more emails...so ill try and keep them interesting! transfers next week so i will hit you guys up next week! love you

exchanges, blood, bday, temple, party, softball

OMG THIS WEEK WAS SO FUN AND BUSY!!! oh first of all, birthday shout out to my big bad DAD!!! 52 never looks so good daddy! anyways this week was the best so im just gonna go day by day.
monday- pday!!! love pday. me and salazar decided that we wanted to start crocheting so we can prepare to be old maids when we get home. so thats been super fun and i should have a nice blanket by the time i get home. it takes a while. we just played sports and then all the sissies did facials. cute!!! that night we went on exchanges with our stls that night so we had to drive to wilcox and back. i was staying with sister hendricks who is from lynwood washington! weve been to efy, and byu together and now we are in the same mission. crazy!
tuesday- we saw a ton of people!!! got 7 lessons that day and sister hendricks is all about talking with everyone even if it is soo awkward but whatevs i did it. she would be like "PERSON" as im drive 60 mph down the highway...yeah okay sister. we saw savanah and committed her to read the book of mormon. just a little bit a day is so important. we also charlotte and she was just charlotte haha. at the end of the day i was so happy to see salazar. we are really good friends and have so much fun with each other!
wednesday- we had to take the car into the shop so we go to crochet while we wait! lol i bet we look like legit grandmas sitting there. then we had zone training about goals and setting baptismal dates. then the zone leaders made me bear my testimony. ugh idk why they did that but i did it. i dont know why i get so nervous doing it in front of people, but it was really good to do it! it really is true...everytime you bear your testimony it is strengthened!!! i need to do it more often then just in lessons and during talks. after that we went and gave blood!! so fun! i save lives and souls!! hahah fun. so last week and this week is temple week for the mission and since we live right by the temple i get to see all the friends. that day i got to see little lovell! i miss her so much...she is still in vail! she will def be transferred in 2 weeks. we saw eli that night. hes so funny...we taught him about tithing and was all about figuring out the 10% and fast offering. he gets baptized this saturday.
thursday- TEMPLE DAY!!! and SISTER SALAZARS BIRTHDAY! i curled her hair and she was lookin like a babe! then we went to the temple. i love that place and really cant wait to get in the habit of going often when i get home. i got some really good revelation and confirmations about questions while i was there. after that we all went to a mexican restaurant for her birthday and they sang her happy bday and we got free sopapillas. so that day we went to go see the gomez family...theyre a less active family who got baptized about 2 years ago. we showed them a mormon message and taught about the atonement. she said that she knows they need to make a change and turn their life around. we were really happy to hear that! we go to see more friends after their temple session. FUN!
friday- we had food bank and then it was elder skoys birthday! so we all went to dennys and got milkshakes! i love birthdays. lol ps guys mines in 2 weeks sooo theres that information for ya. do with it what you will. then we weekly planned and saw kat and leroy. we talked about the temple and how they need to be sealed!!! i hope they take it seriously. then we had dinner with the boers. love them! and it rained outside!!!! i love rain and washington.
saturday- we played basketball in the morning...tight. then we saw savannah and taught her the plan of salvation. ps mom those POS flash cards you got me really come in handy! she was able to put it back together after we jumbled them all around. we also saw floyd that afternoon. hes always complaining about his bad health and that hes doing everything he can to get healthy and i was just like "GOSH DANGIT FLOYD, COME TO CHURCH, PUT YOUR FAITH IN HEAVENLY FATHER AND HE WILL HELP YOU OUT" he still didnt come to church -_______- . then we had a ward bbq up the mountain. omg it was so fun! i love the 9th ward and are really close to all the people in that ward. we couldnt stay long because we had to get back to town for dinner in 8th ward haha. dang double dinner. after dinner we went to saturday night softball and guess who was there? THE GOMEZ FAMILY...and they even brought some friends! we were so happy to see them and we all had a good time playing softball. they told us to come over on tuesday...they have a unbaptized 9 year old son so hopefully we can make him a new investigator as well. it was such a miracle and we were so happy to see them.
sunday- we had church and in walk the gomezs! HOT DANG WE WERE HAPPY. it got me thinking like what really makes me happy. obvi having fun with friends and getting presents and one direction makes me happy but this happiness is different. seeing people accept the message of the restoration and come to church and making a change in their life truly truly makes me a happy girl! where do you guys get your happiness? think about that question this week! we saw connie after church, she had a good time with he husband in prison this last week and told us that when she gets out hes getting baptized and then they want to be seal in the temple. cute! we ended the night with dinner and teaching addie the doctrine of christ. cooool!
nothing really special this week but we are gonna work hard so we can get sister salazar a good teaching pool before i leave this area! have a great week!!! love you all

100...start the countdown

helllo all! i hope you had a great week and thought about me a lot! do you wanna hear something so disgusting. i only got 3 letters all of august. that makes me cringe -___- shout out to B. Nichols, grandma and grandpa butcherite and jessica wilson for the wedding announcement. step up your game peeeeeps!! lets make september "write sista b" month. hhahah fun!!!! so on tuesday after email i got my hair cut....bangs!!! just bangs. but i didnt take any pictures this week so youll see them next week. srrrrry. then we went and saw mr. floyd. hes doing good but still not coming to church. i tell you agency is sooo overrated these days. me and salazar were soooo dang fetchin tired and since dinner was cancelled we slept for an hour. after nap time we saw arieana. omg she said the funniest thing. so we were teaching the plan of salvation and salazar was like who were the first lady and man on earth and she was like.... "well the first lady is mrs. obama!" OMG I WAS SCREAMING WITH LAUGHTER. i mean shes right but it was just so hilarious. i love children. then that night we went to see a little girl named addie. i love her family they are so fun! we are teaching her the lessons before her baptism. on wednesday we had district meeting and it was basically a pep talk from our district leader about heavenly father is not going to leave us hangin! its true...read alma 26. the sons of mosiah and alma the younger are my homies and give me so much inspiration. then the sisters went on a sister date to chinese. wednesday is cheat day! haha! that night we saw eli and taught about the law of chastity...we told him all the things that might lead us to breaking the law of chastity, like bad thoughts, words and entertainment, and put them in a box and told him to NEVER open it. or else. he got a little scared but its ok. then we went to see the franklins and the wife was all about church and a lesson so thats what we did.....but she didnt come to church -________- wahhh! on thursday we had food bank and then we saw savanah and taught the restoration. she was really connected the whole time and the spirit sure was there when i gave the first vision. we are going to try and start the book of mormon with her this week. then we saw charlotte. that girl is so fun!! so whenever she says prayers she always says "thank you for the wonderful missionaries" and then she didnt say it so i was like what about the wonderful missionaries and she was like "wonderful is so last year" again...ROFL. then after dinner we saw connie. she is going to see her husband in prison this weekend. i dont know if i told you about him but like since hes been in jail...hes been having visions and dreams and supposedly he had a dream about the 13 articles of faith and wrote them down and when he sent them to connie she let us read them and they were pretty dang close to the real deal. it was pretty cool. he will be taking the lessons when he gets out in 10 months. he already knows its true. on friday after food bank we had 12 week training and weekly planning...plus our dinner cancelled but brought us pizza. too tight. I LOVE PIZZA. we saw kat and leroy that night. leroy is taking this thing called chantex and it makes him sick whenever he even smell cigarette smoke. so fun!! now kat just needs to stop. on saturday we went tracting for a bit...there are so many inactive members in safford we ran into 3 while tracting...its kinda awk. "yeah i know who you are i just dont go to church." lol wanna come back? i got kinda burnt. then we saw some active members and had dinner with bishop hargis. they are the best! we saw a lot of active members this week because we wanted to get everyone to fast for missionary work in the area this sunday. so that is what a lot of us did yesturday. hopefully with this fast we will be able to access the power of our heavenly father and get some new investigators and more reactivation! omg in sacrament meeting this guy got up there...hes clearly less active and i couldnt really understand him so im just writing in my journal when all of the sudden he starts singing i am a child of god. all three verses. ummmmm good for you guy! he left after he did that. it was kinda awk but cool too. this week was good as far as fitness is concerned. MWF we go running....about 1.5 miles. TTS we go to the gym and do suicides and other drills. i can tell im getting in shape a little more! ugh getting there is so hard and food is like...good. but i have determination. pray for investigators and that i get magically skinny overnight. I LOVE YOU ALL!!! we go to the temple this week. and its sister salazars bday! should be a great week!!!

this work is tufffff

helloo family!!!! i love you all so much and miss you every single day. okay so tuesday....listen to this. so i actually love the sisters in my zone which is like a big deal because some of the sisters are just -___- not my personality and think im immature which is true. but these sissies are like me! we have fun together. so sister aleman said if we drink a full carton of apple juice that we will be cleaned out and all that good stuff. so on tuesday that is just what we did....we all drank and drank and drank till i was literally sweating apple juice. and about an hour later the results proved true. ill just say that. my stomach was trippin for the rest of the night. on wednesday we didnt have district meeting which meant we had to go hard all day. we were able to meet with a lot of people that day. saw some less actives in the morning that we had never met...and for obvi reasons. they were nice but did not want us there for too long. we went tracting for a good 1.5 hours but like its soooo hot....im getting tan. kinda. and this lady gave us a christian book "are you a good person" obvi!!!! im coming your house to talk about jesus how awful could i be. people! i love everybody!!! ill just keep telling myself that. we saw charlotte after that and you would not believe what her little sister did. okay she a little different and so we are sitting there just having the lesson and she starts dancing and holding herself and salazar is like do you hafta pee and do you wannna know what she did next!?! she squated down and peed her pants and said IM A DOG *RUFF RUFF* i just about killed myself it was soooo disturbing. idk what kids think these days. after dinner we went to see eli and taught him about the word of wisdom...i think he was a little bored because he was like "next time can we do fun activities like we did last time" haha i guess its time to get more creative! that night we saw the franklins, he is a super active member who got rebaptized in march after excommunication and she is struggling to come to church. we see them alot because theyre always home and dont care that we come over at 8 at night! on thursday after food bank we saw arieana....we helped her with her home work and then taught about joseph smith. im going to make sure all my kids have the missionary lessons before they get baptized because they would know sooo much about the gospel before they make the big dip! i would highly suggest every parent teach them to their children. arieana knows so much more than i think i did at 8. after that we saw some ward missionaries to discuss how we can get the work moving a little faster. we are trying so hard to get new investigators. on friday we saw connie and she was babysiting he grandson so the whole thing was kinda distracted and we ended up playing with him most of the time...but of course left her with a message. we are really trying to work with her on keeping the word of wisdom. smoking is the worstttt!!! we went tracting for the rest of the night and met marty....you know its going to be a great conversation when someone opens the door with a beer can in his hand and saw "hey good lookin". he was supper nice but was hatin on the book of mormon like no other. "why would we need more word, all we need is the bible...no joseph smith book." people dont even know what the book of mormon is about. they think its about joseph smith or something. i love the book of mormon and i have read it everyday of my mission. it truly has made me a better person and i have grown closer to my savior jesus christ and have learned to appreciate his atonement and the difference it makes in my life! read it guys! everyday. i just left him with that testimony and he told us to come back....but probably just to bible bash some more. on saturday we played basketball in the mornin then we had to help a lady in our ward move. we got all the elders from safford to come and help which was great because i cant lift squat. after we showered and got ready we went to see kat and leroy...leroy is quitting smoking right now so he is sooo tempermental but i like to push his buttons. ima get shot. then we saw charlotte...no pee this time around haha. we played softball that night and it was fun but i got bit by like 2039480 mosquito. whatevs. sunday was good! church was good and the talks were great. in 9th ward they talked about making eternal families. i love that i get to be with my crazy loud wild family for ETERNITY! so fun. we went to connies that night and made peach cobbler with her and jaden. so tight. on monday for pday we went to the mountain and had a bbq....omg we are so cute and are just like a family. elder nelson had a fun time taking all our pictures. he thinks hes a photographer sometimes. omg this email is soo long. i love you all and have a great week!!
