1 year down!!!

helllllllllllooooo how the heck is everyone doing?! freaking elder peterson is showing me every picture he's ever taken on his mission so i have little time left. so last monday we went bowling!! it was tight. the elders wanted to play 3 games and we only had 1 lane for the 8 of us. it took 3 hours but it was so fun! on the last round we played all fun, like bowling with left hand, spinning the ball, granny and stuff like that. on tuesday

we had a very busy day! we saw our investigator savannah, shes doing good except for the whole church thing. roadblock! we met with our recent convert kris. she is on fire! she doesnt have much to do all day so she just reads the book of mormon and other lds stuff. shes soo great! that night we had dinner at one of the biggest houses ive seen in my mission. it was just so nice with like a gym and pool and green house and loveeee! we went to go visit kat and leroy..the crazies and when we get there their dog was bleeding and like paralyzed so we went with them to the vet and they had to put him down :((((( awwww purdy ILOVEHER!!! on wednesday we had district meeting and our DL said the best thing "everyday stop doing what youre not supposed to be doing and start doing what you are supposed to be doing." i loved that!!! we talked about our purpose and stufff. same as usual. we did family history with kris after and i was able to find a lot of her family! it was fun. who knew?! we went to dennys for dinner cause a member gave us money and when we went to pay some one had paid for us!!! wut?!?!? people are so nice, i swear! thursday was our 1 year mark!!! it was so fun to be with someone i came out with because we were both so excited! we lit sparklers and had so much fun! also we went to this ysa education thing that night and i learned that the LDS religion is the only religion where if you receive more education you actually become more active in the church...in all other religions people actually become less active when they get more education. so coool!! i like that! we were super busy on saturday! we went to see Charlotte, our ten year old recent convert. haha funny story, so her sister is 5 and is really outta control. she was like pulling down sister reeves shirt and lifting up her skirt...of course i was loling the whole time. so sister reeves was "like next time you do that im gonna tickle you". she did it again and sister reeves tickled her down to the floor then all the sudden the girls like "YOU MADE ME PEE MY PANTS" and there was a huge wet spot on the floor! hahahahha omg guys! she just peed herself. i almost peed MYSELF!! loved that. saturday we saw savanah and then we hadnt seen our new investigator arianna in a week so we just stopped by and she was home! that was a miracle! we showed her the restoration movie...i will probably have that whole thing memorized by the time i go home. some members took us out to dinner at the best mexican place in town. there were 2 other companionships there and even a family from my last area. it was fun to see them!  then we had a ward luau that night so it was a good day. sunday was just church and visiting some people...nothing too big. we got 28 lessons this week and stayed pretty busy. it was great. this week we have zone conference and its the last time im gonna see the killpacks :( they are such great people and i feel so privileged to have worked with them this last year. i will miss them soo much! okay off to another fun filled pday! have a great week and enjoy the not 110 degree weather! lovvvveeee,

baptism fever!!!

hellooooo, how is everyone? parent? enjoying your cruise, while I melt away in the hot Arizona desert sun -_________-  anyways, not bitter at all because this week was fab!!! on Monday after pday we had stake family home evening for missionaries and investigators. it was fun! kris came and told everyone how much she loves the gospel and is excited to get baptized. on Tuesday we had appointments all day. we met with one of our investigators name savannah. she cant get baptized till july 26 because her and her boyfriend get married july 19th and blah blah blah RULES. haha then we went to read the scriptures with an old lady who had NO AC!! are chu kidding me or wut? it was like a death chamber. oh well. then we saw kris and the charolette and taught them their final lesson before baptism. sooo great! we got a referral for a little cute ginger girl who wants to be baptized, so we met with her and got to know her a little bit! I love the work!!! after dinner we went and visited with some recent converts....omg these people are just. I cant even describe them. so funny! ill have to get a pick and then youll understand. on Wednesday we had zone meeting which goes for 4ever long but its alllllgooood. we had to make the programs for the baptisms so we went to a members house and of course I ask everyone how they met and her met her on the mission in one of his wards and im just like lol SOOOOOO TIGHTTTT!!!! after we made the programs we had stake correlation. where all the missionaries in the zone and the stake president come and discuss the missionary work in the stake. soooo much love for missionary work its great!!! on Thursday we had the food bank and then we went and cleaned out one of the most disgusting trailers known to man. rat poop. dust. spiders. and sister reeves is so deathly afraid of spiders she wouldn't touch anything so that meant that it was time for me to man upppp. im so tough and stuff. so that was gross. we also went to the food bank and got FREE FOOD! haha I love that. on Friday we were just going and going all day. we had to see kris because her son got sent back to prison after being out for 7 days. she is still so strong though because she said her heart is still happy even though satan is trying to pull her down. she had the most amazing faith!!! on Saturday we had 3 baptisms in the zone so that's what we were doing all day. charolettes was first. she was soo excited and jumping up and down in her seat until it was time to get dunked. then Kris's was great! the ward was so supportive and a lot of people came. the lady giving the holy ghost talk was HILARIOUS! At the end she was like "in the name of Jesus Christ GET IN THE WATER!!!" hahah everything went so smoothly and perfect. we treated ourselves to free dominos pizza for dinner. the confirmations went good in church the next day too. heavenly fathers got everything under control don't worry you guys! well now that we had these baptisms its kinda like looololo wuts next. but I know the work will continue and things will flow! until next week. have a fun day. love you guys! mwahhhh

helllo my beautiful family and friends. i hope you had a great week and were a lot healthier that i was. so we got here on tuesday and omg it was the hottest day of my life maybe? 107. gross. hate it. sister reeves was like "arizona and hell have a lot in common" dead! so funny. but really it doesnt need to be that hot. that night for dinner some members took us to a yummy mexican food restaurant, then i came home and unpacked the rest of the night. the next day i woke up with a bad stomach ache but i just thought that i was still full from dinner or something so no biggie. by the time we got to district meeting i was feeling so feverish with aches, shivers and the whole SHABANG! any ways the zone is tiny!! there are only 14 of us. definitely my smallest zone so far. but everyone says a small zone is great because we all get super close. looking forward to that. so i couldnt really take a rest that day because we had so many appointments. INVESTIGATORS!!!! its so great. first we saw charlotte, shes a 10 year old girl that is suppper cute and loves the missionaries. then we saw kris! i love kris, she is sooo sweet and is a SPONGE! she comes from a really tough background. she doesnt have much and doesnt even have electricity. but she is one of the sweetest ladies ive met and absolutely loves the gospel. they are both getting baptized this saturday. i taught more investigator lessons on my first day than i did all last transfer hahah thats crazy. i was feeling so aweful that night so after dinner we went home and i went straight to bed at about 7pm and didnt wake up till 8 the next morning. i was still feeling really bad though....like i havent felt this sick in a really long time. so i basically slept until 2 and then we had to go out because we had appointments. i felt so bad for staying in so much but im not trying to spread the bug around. we saw Kris and her lessons are just so awesome because she literally takes everything we say and agrees and sees the importance. shes so awesome, and the ward literally took her in so good!!! its so exciting to have investigators be so excited about the gospel.  on friday i was feeling a bit better but still had a really bad nose congestion thing. but we went to the food bank and they give us free food!!! so thats gonna save so much money and ill have other stuff to get lol like clothes or something. then we went out to lunch for one of the sisters birthdays....it was good! the rest of the night we had appointments. we have seen kris every day since ive been here. on saturday we cleaned the church, then went to a baptism, but i was still feeling so sick so we came back and i took a nap for like 2 hours. ugh its awefullll! i hate being sick. i mean 1 day is good because we get to chill for a bit, but more than 1 day is nonsense. we had dinner with the bishop that night, he is sooo nice and their house is like way fun and big and gorrrge.  ohhh we cover 2 wards so that means a lot of church again....but not 9 hours. just 5. its such a great change. we had steak for dinner!!! the members here love the missionaries. the whole town love missionaries so we get a bunch of free stuff which is too fun! anyways im still sick. stupid nose wont clear, my nose is all chap and gross from blowing so much. ive gone through 2308 tissues. pray for health por favor. me and sister reeves are doing great. shes been so patient with me. 2 baptisms this week!!! cant wait. pictures next week!! love you guys sooo much.

OUT OF TUCSON!!!!

so transfers were this week and you guys are just gonna have to read the whole email to know where i got sent to. NO CHEATING!!! so on monday we had pday and stuff. reall good, love mondays! then that night we had an exchange and sister rockwood came with me. MTC comps! it was so fun. we basically had a blast all day. had a lot of appointments and caught up on the mission. she is so sweet! i wish we could have served around each other more. then on wednesday we had our last interviews with president killpack. omg i am going to miss that man so much. he is so great and i was  just able to talk to him about everything on my mind. so tender. DONT LEAVE PK!!! omg i dont really remember what happened the rest of the week i dont have my planner with me so its so hard to remember!!!! on thursday...oh yeah! we went to the blood drive and i donated some of my prime A+ blood, but got like a huge bruise. what the? oh well all for the cause. then we had a double dinner that night. both pizza hahahha its okay though cause i love pizza. the next day for lunch some members wanted to take us out so we went to a super good italian restaurant but the husband got like a huge bloody nose during the meal so they had to leave hahah it was aweful. poor guy. so this saturday the boy that we had been teaching all the missionary discussions to just for fun got baptized at the stake 8 year old baptism so we went to that. it was cute. i never knew how easier it is to dunk a little 8 year old child compared to a full sized adult. i feel like all the older converts have to go down multiple time because something goes wrong. then at the beginning of the day things were really slow...i think it was because it was memorial day and alot of people were outta town. lol we went tracting and some man told us to get the H3!! off of his porch. ugh why do people gotta be so mean. lovey was like "okay have a great day" and i just wanted to say some not so missionary like things. on sunday after church we went to visit with the cienega bishop. ugh i love that family. theyre so fun! then we went to dinner at the chinchillas for dinner and she made the BEST dinner with like missionary margaritas lol so funn!!!! then we basically just stayed there until we got transfer calls. we got calls at about 9:45 and DRUMMMMMMMMRRRRRROOOOOOOLLLLL.....i getting trasferred to safford, AZ aka utah arizona about 2 hours east of tucson. its mostly members out here so its gonna be different but im excited. my new companion is sister reeves. i came out with her so we kinda know each other but im pumped to get to know her more. so on monday we had zone breakfast and pictures and then i made the rounds to say  goodbye to all my favorite peeps. im gonnnnna misss this area so much! but im excited for change. so since im way outta tucson i got to ride the transfer van to the Gila valley and sister call rode in it too since shes going to new mexico. omg it was sooo fun to catch up with her. she is my FAVORITE companion!!! we are just one in the same. love her!! so we just giggled and laughed the whole time...im sure everyone hated us. so yuppppp thats the news!!! out in safford fo who knows how long. lets see what happens! okay love you all g2g!

helooo hello helloo. how is everyone doing. omg i just looked at the clock and i have like 15 minutes so hopefully i can get everything in. sooooorrrry. we had a fun day. we went to visit a lady and boy did she love to talk. we were there for 2 hours and basically had to force ourselves to leave. it was so funny. lovey was trying so hard and i was just dying haha. then we came home and caught a lizard! i dont have the pics on my camera lol sorrrrry! then after that we went tracting. lovester loves tracting so we are all about it these days. then for dinner we did a magic trick for our lesson! lol you guys it is soooo good. i will hafta record it and then send it to you guys. you will be amazed! on wednesday we had distrcit meeting. it was good! all about leaving commitments with people and making it exciting. which i love! lol then for the rest of the day we seriously tracted. it was sooo great! nothing came out of it but im getting a really good watch tan line and it wasnt that hot. that night we went on exchanges and i went to my old area in the east. PANTANOOOO WASSSUP. It was good and i got to see a lot of old members that actually remembered me! i was like awww tender. people know me. so that was good. omg that was the day when the heat hit. it was probs 95-100 all day and i was sweatin. lol yesss just the way i remembered it. on friday after weekly planning me and lovey made the rounds to the people that we visit. we went to see one lady and shes like thank goodness you girls are here i need you too cut my hair. and im like FUNNNNNN!!! so we made lovell do it. omg it was soo funny. she gets the clippers and starts going and then all this hair falls off and lovell looks at me with that face and was like "SOOOO SHORT" HAHAHHAHHA. but it looked good and she did a good job. soo funny. that night we had dinner at the chinchillas....were the elders live. and we fed the horses and then some of the missionaries came over to "burn" their clothing. like an elder hit his 18 months so he burnt some pants. wierd missionary stuff like that. saturday was sooo hot and hard. we went to 14 houses that day and only 1 person was home that we could share a message with. and it was soooooo hot. dilligence people. im telling ya. we had stake conference this weekend. the saturday night one was all about hastening the work and it was sooo good. seriously missionary work is 200% easier with members involved. sunday was good because we werent at church for 108923 hours so we got to visit alotttta people. sorry i hafta goooo but i love you all. write me because i havent gotten letters 4 EVER!!! have a great weeeek <3

mothers day HIIIIIGGGGGGH!

ugh it was sooo good to talk to you guys yesturday! i missss you so much and love you to pieces. i hope that talk will get me through this last 7 month stretch. I HIT MY 11 MONTHS TODAY. lol thanks because im so old in the mission right now. like everyone looks up to my wisdom, knowledge and experience. okay so lemme think about what we did this last week. on tuesday we visited alot of members because that is our only 2 finding ideas: knocking doors and working with members! on wednesday we had a metting with our 1 investigator peggy. we taught the word of wisdom and she says that she shouldnt have a problem with any of it! yessssss i hate having to deal with that kinda stuff but it comes with the territory i guess. she is so golden! i really hope she hits he baptism date. i guess its good to have 1 solid investigator than a bunch of noncommittal people. AMIRITE? after our meeting with her we went tracting. lol lovell is so fun when she tracts. we go to this house....like a nice house...and a boy who looks 15 answers the door and shes like "hi are your parents home" and hes like "NO, i actually own this house and im not interested." i almost peed myself it was sooooo funny!!! then at dinner we had a really good mexican meal: beans, rice and the whole shabang. then for the rest of the night their son is actually farting the whole night. i couldnt contain my laughter, but im not sure if he noticed. LOLOLOLOL!!! on thursday we were busy all day seeing people. 6 lessons! we went to see our recent converts the oversons and their 8 year old son said he wants to be baptized. caressa (the mom) has just eaten up every part of the gospel and its sooo good to see her flourish! shes so great. im so excited for them. now we just need to get the 2 other sons. on friday we went to this familys house for dinner and when they feed the missionaries they dont mess around! lemme tell you what was for dinner. we had t bone steak (huge), baked potatoes, grilled corn, salad, french bread, and split pea soup. i dont even know how i made it. soooo much food, and we once again got left overs. fun! saturday was another good day full of lessons. we got 24 lessons this week. pretty good! i think the most ive hit is 30 in my whole mission. sunday was spent just counting down the hours until i could talk to you guys and it was well worth the wait. i cant wait to talk to EVERYONE! ugh i cant think about it too much because i miss you guys so much! okay well i dont really have much time left. have a great week sorry this wasnt that long. byeeeee

OHHHH HEEEEELLLLLLLLOOOO. how are my faves doing this day? this week was sooooo lol. on monday after tombstone we went to play pday sports and had dinner with one of my favorite families. the best. on tuesday we went around trying to see people in the morning and we stopped at a members house who literally has every bird on earth in his backyard. i told him he should charge admission into his house. we saw geese, chickens, emus, peacocks, peracettes lol i dont even know if that last one is real but it was nuts. then we had to go get a car wash for car inspections. our car gets sooo dirty on all the dirt roads that we drive on. we had a meeting with a lady in our ward that is going through a hard time. its times like these on my mission that i feel so good about what im doing. there is not much that 2 22 year old girls can do for people with real life problems but she tells us that we help so much and that just makes me feel SOO GOOD!!! on wednesday we had zone training with president and sister killpack. it was mostly discussion based around a talk given by elder bednar. there were some really good things said, but im tellin ya, some people need to learn to keep their mouth shut. but its all good. i keep the peace. after that we had a lesson with peggy and it was sooo good! she has such great intentions to find out the truth. she said that she was willing to do whatever it takes to find out. we set a new baptismal date with her for june 7th. that night we had dinner at another great members house. she is just the cutest. she loves to do family history so she showed lovey how its done. it was way fun and lovell was havin a blast. i hope to get more into that when i get home. on thursday we met with a less active in our ward that took the lessons forever so they had a million sets of missionaries so we had a missionary reunion with about 8 of us. it was pretty fun...hopefullly seeing all of them will get them encouraged to start coming back to church! on friday we went to a less actives house and helped her make hundreds of egg rolls. it was fun and we even got to take some home. ever since lovey got here everyone had been giving us sooo much food. probs cause love looks like she weighs 92 pounds and they wanna fatten her up. lol!!! that afternoon we stopped at a magic shop in our area and go thee best pranks and tricks....they will come in handy later. on saturday morning during our study we saw a king snake on our front porch. lovell tried to catch it but it slithered off. we are gonna get it and do something sneaky with it later. the elders had a baptism that day so we went to that and then we had dinner at a families house that has 5 little boys and a daughter. so we are sitting there eating dinner and one little guy says to me "are you her mom" pointing at lovell. OMG WE DIED!!!!! it was soo funny. i cant wait to have children who say rediculous things. on sunday we had church and peggy came! the fellowshippers in the cienega ward are so great, we hardly even got to talk to her. then during our break between wards me and lovey went to the park to study. omg first of all, there was live action role play there (search it if you dont know what it is) and second we got soooooooooo burnt. when we went to church everyone was like "ohhh sisters are you okay" so im just totally fried right now looking like a lobster. but oh well. its cool. last night we went to the bishops house for dinner and lovell planted the fart machine we bought at the magic shop in her skirt and we made her "fart" at dinner. hilarious! they believed it!! it was sooooo funny. but we told them and the bishop said we had guts to do it. but we knew he would appreciate it. ugh sorry this is so long, i just have a lot of stories to tell these days! have a great week and pray my burn turns into a golden brown.  oh yeah also lovell ran into the sliding glass door on saturday night. i almost peed my pants.
